One time I made lots of money writing, then I woke up.

Background Information

My name is Olin Mitchell Haynes. I actually go by the name Mitch. I am an aspiring author. I never read a complete novel until I was 20 years old and in the Navy. I still remember the name of it. It was called "Carrion Comfort". Although, I don't remember the name of the author. The second novel I ever read was "Jurassic Park" by Micheal Crichton. That was a few years later when I was about 25. After that I was hooked. I began reading a little bit of Stephen King although I'm actually not particularly impressed by his works. One writer that I admire greatly is Dean Koontz. I've read more than a few of his books. Sherri S. Tepper, however, is by far my all time favorite author. She never fails to mesmerize me in her fantasy worlds. Her books often start out a little slow, but then something happens along the way and it's hard to put them down. Everything just gets better and better until the end and then it is always an excellent climax. I just read a book by Jack Kerley, and he too impressed me a lot. I plan to read more of his books in the future. Even though I never read a novel until I was 20, I did write stories in high school and always got good grades on them. Also I have always wrote poetry. I usually write a poem when I'm inspired by something, but I've also wrote just to write about something in particular. For example, I wrote a poem called "Rodeo" and dedicated to a bull rider friend of mine.
