W. Bryan Smith was born in New Haven, CT in 1971. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. Buddy & the Jack is his debut novel. His second novel, Starry Night, was released in 2004. He is currently working on his third novel.

Accomplishments

|
Smith earned his BA from Mansfield University. He is the 2003 recipient of the Bruce H. Stanley Award for Humanities from Reading Area Community College. Currently, he is an MFA candidate at Bennington College in Vermont.
