I have a high interest in technology, with degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics. I read, write and review books on technology, science fiction, martial arts and history. My first novel, Dusk Before the Dawn, combined my interests in martial arts with Mayan history and a bit of technology. My second novel, Software by the Kilo, combines World War II history with a modern tale of entreprenuers seeking funding, and finding it in places they didn't want to!
I read a large amount of history books, including Texas history, World War I and II, and history of ancient peoples like the Mayans and American Indians. I also have a soft spot for old pulp fiction: I have a collection of Doc Savage, Edgar Rice Burroughs and other pulp authors.
From science fiction and fantasy, I devour George R. R. Martin, Dan Simmons, Neil Stephenson and a large blend of other writers.
