M.N. Norton is a graduate of Eastern Washington University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History. A deep fascination with the political dynamics of the Soviet Union strongly influenced her decision to bring Russia back to the forefront as one of the most powerful intelligence organization in the world. Her novel Helix, does so brilliantly.

She retired after a ten year stint in politics, and now writes novels, screenplays, poetry and short stories full time.
