Why don't they make sand-proof laptops so I can write at the beach? Why?

Background Information

I'm an investigative journalist at heart, so I get a charge out of digging up information that's buried and finding people who don't want to talk and getting them to open up. That's why I write nonfiction, because I have tremendous respect for the power of words to reveal truth and change lives. The money and independence don't suck, either.

Birth Place
Downey, CA USA
Accomplishments

None worth twittering about.

Additional Information

I just had a book come out (November 2008) with McGraw-Hill called "The Brand Called You," co-written with my pal Peter Montoya. It's a rarity in that my name's on it. I also had another book come out from McGraw in June, a ghosted book called "The Beauty Prescription." I'm working on a bio of former California secretary of state March Fong Eu and 4 other projects, and just got a book I did for Melissa Rvers accepted by Random House. Other than that, not much going on.
