Graeme S. Houston was born in Irvine, Scotland, in 1980. He grew up in a small village near Kilmarnock and spent his childhood reading books and climbing trees. He studied Computing and Psychology, with the crazy notion of going into artificial intelligence research, but thankfully saw sense in the end. His passions are art, reading, travelling, photography, graphic design, painting, astronomy, and bar-hopping in exotic locations. He drinks Tiger beer when he can, listens to global lounge, fusion, trance, or classical depending on his mood or what he's writing. Something of a Digital Bedouin, he works from anywhere. His favourite writers are Robert Silverberg, Philip K Dick, Philip Pullman, Ian McDonald, and Alastair Reynolds. Extensively travelled he has found many great things from all over the world to influence him. He also runs Mythica Publishing. http://www.mythicapublishing.com
