Leonard Chivers was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. He has a total of 6 children; 4 daughters of his own, as well as a step-daughter and a step-son from his current marriage. He is a painter by trade, but after 18 years with the same company, the Michigan economy and unexpected health issues forced a change of plans in 2005. This turn of events provided the author with the opportunity to bring Brutal Honesty from the idea of ‘someday’ into reality. It is his hope that his work will bring enjoyment, laughter and a little bit of common sense back into the world.
