ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A second-generation Phoenix native, Gayle (Homes) Martin graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in art and then pursued postgraduate studies at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She worked for several years as a free-lance graphic designer and illustrator, winning numerous prestigious awards along the way.
Gayle wrote and self-published her first book, Anna's Kitchen: a Compilation of WWII Ration Recipes, in 2005. This was followed in 2006 with Gunfight at the O.K. Corral: Luke and Jenny Visit Tombstone. Published by Five Star Publications, Inc., Gunfight at the O.K. Corral became the first in the Luke and Jenny series of historical novels for young readers.
Gayle currently resides in Tucson, Arizona has now begun writing romance novels as Marina Martindale.
Accomplishments: Finalist - Indie Awards of Excellence - Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County War a Luke and Jenny Adventure.
Honorable Mention Hollywood Book Festival - Gunfight at the O.K. Corral Luke and Jenny Visit Tombstone.
