I write from experience, about real life and real issues--usually covering topics many don't discuss, but if it happens, I believe we should discuss it. So I do. My writing is honest, my style is unique, but the language is universal. No matter who you are, or where you're from, you will relate to me. It's my job to draw parallels for my reader and connect them to the rest of the world through commonalities we never thought were there.

I am currently working on the sequel to Nothing New Under the Sun--this will be my second novel. Last summer I put out Timeless Thoughts & Words of Wisdom From the Mind of Tonya D. Floyd, two volumes of original thoughts and ideas I used to email to a select group of individuals. I figured somebody I've never met could likewise use some of this wisdom, so I published the two books for you. I'm telling my story, but hopefully I'm telling yours too, and now you know you're not alone. Enjoy!
