I began writing in Junior High School, it was my fascination with books and reading that probably prompted me to start writing.  At the age of twelve I had wrote my first short story and play for a school project.  At that time I didn't think anything of it, to me it was just the norm.  I guess it must have been pretty good because I received an A+ for both projects. 

But, unfortunately, since I didn't have anyone supporting or encouraging me to continue with writing as a profession, I soon lost interest in writing all together.  It wasn't until a few years later that I started writing again, but it was different this time... as writing became an outlet for me, a way for me to express what I was feeling inside.  It was no longer something that I enjoyed doing, it became something that I needed to do in order to relieve the pain that I was going through.  It was at this point in my life that I started writing poetry and drawing free-hand.  That's when I found out I had another talent... I could actually draw. 

Well, life moved on and I stopped writing and drawing completely, until a little before the Spring of 2005 that's when I started writing once again.  I can attribute my taking interest in writing again to one person... Though I will not go into details about that situation, I will say this... "It's because of this person that I've actively started writing & drawing again".  Though I now do graphic arts instead of free-hand drawings.

So in wrapping this up I would like to say that..."My spirituality, life, & people" have been my greatest influences when it comes to my writings.  Because in order to write, you definitely need something to write about and from that realization I've come to know... I have a whole lifetime full of events  and dreams to write and draw about... Stay Blessed.
