I'm a rookie writer whose first novel is in print as an e-book. I do romances the "old fashioned" way.

Back in 1999, my Husband launched a magazine project, a "fanzine" dedicated to old fashioned romance writing--"Romances With Attitude." I was talked into writing the first three issues while he recruited other writers from off the Internet. After the magazine folded in 2006, he persuaded me to submit the first of my magazine novels, "Liberation," to an e-book publishing house, Lavender Isis Press. To my surprise it was accepted immediately, and is in print as I write these words. Since I did other novels for the old magazine, I may not have to write anything new for years! I have plenty of material lying around for submissions. And since most of my work is set in either the seventies or early eighties, none of them will ever go out of style.
(Note of Appreciation: The cover for my book, shown above, was done by Linda Ballard.)

Additional Information

My only project that doesn't take place in the past is a short novel, "Barbarian From Space," my one and only futuristic. I was going to wait on this one, but Husband is urging me to submit it now that I've become a "pro." This will probably be my next submission.
