I began writing at an early age, three if you count my scribbling on the walls, and have continued to write through the years. Writing and reading are as much a part of me as the beat of my heart. The first book I read, and liked, was "The Last of the Mohicans" by James F. Cooper. It was excellent reading for a girl in the 10th grade, and I wanted to tell stories just like that.
Everyone in my family draws and paints. I can't. But I can write you a painting.

I have very recently began to write full time, between watching two of my grandchildren ages 4 and 6, that is. I raised my two sons as a single Mother, and other than my writing they are the best things I've ever done.
