I Graduated with BA in Theatre Arts from the University of California, Irvine in 1991. I published my first short story in 1994 in Catalyst Magazine. Since then I've published many stories and articles in magazines and anthologies like Children's Digest, My Friend, Ladybug, Cat Fancy, Redbook, and the bestselling books Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul and Chicken Soup for the Kids' Soul 2. I am a member of Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and The Author's Guild.

I would be happy to do school presentations for my composer biographies. I also teach dance and drama for children. For the past year I've been ghost-writing a series of romance novellas. It looks like I may be signing a contract for my Young Adult fantasy novel Cry of the Sea. More info to come...
