Deb Welch grew up near Philadelphia, PA. During one of several careers, she developed and installed computer-based heath care applications in hospitals throughout the country. Then she and her husband discovered South Carolina's coastal region, also known as the Low Country. Captivated by its ambiance, they moved to Hilton Head Island and became entrepreneurs for the next ten years. After selling a successful vacation rental business, they semi-retired and Deb began writing fiction. Happily married for over thirty years, they enjoy an active life on Hilton Head Island and traveling together.
Deb Welch self-published her first two novels and seeks a literary agent for her books and others she plans for the Dunlevy series.
