CHAPTER 9: "Barbados"
This tale disguised as a narrative journal in the first person is about the trials, sufferings, adventures and perhaps rescue of a 17th century composer gone slightly mad! He takes a mis-calculated sea journey and gets stranded in the Caribbean Islands of ca. 1695. It is partly based on Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST and the main character is modeled on English composer Henry Purcell. It will be completed in a second book that is almost finished. I WILL Publish at end of 2008!

Achievements: to play the piano as an adult (beginning at age 18!) is an achievement believe me; I stuck to it under thick and thin!
Wrote numerous papers on 20th century composers like Stravinsky; classic modern authors like Kafka, Dostoyevsky (sic); Crime & Punishment, Notes from the Underground, The Idiot were upheavals! Major American literary influences: Thoreau, Whitman, Emerson, Twain, London. Can't claim any recent novelists as an influence believe it or not! I'll take the classics!
