From L to R, Charlene Tess and Judi Thompson - aka Tess Thompson. We are sisters who formed a team to write romance novels. We live over 700 miles apart (both in Texas) and communicate by e-mail and cell phone. The iPad, iPhone, and the Kindle version of Accidental Angel are now available.

Charlene Tess and her sister Judi Thompson have been writing since they were young girls. They decided to team up and write the kind of novels they love to read. The heroines in their novels are strong women who are respected by the men they love.
Our characters were influenced by our parents' example. They were married and in love for 66 years, and their spirits are entwined. You can read their love story in an article we recently posted.

After teaching grammar and creative writing for 34+ years, Charlene Tess took the materials she has developed over the years and turned them into a grammar workbook that teachers throughout Texas and New Mexico say they really enjoy using with their students, too. Simple Steps to Sentence Sense is now available as an ebook C.D. from Author's Den, or as a download from teacherspayteachers.com.
Judi is still working as the Program Director for the Special Education Department of the Aldine School District in Texas. She plans to do more writing after she retires.

Here's Anne K. Edwards' review of Accidental Angel:
To quote a song the title "Love Me Tender" would apply to the needs of heroine, Dena Quinn, who has moved to beautiful Colorado after leaving a bad marriage. A pediatric nurse, she has found work and hopefully a new home where she can heal and get on with her life.
Shane Madden is a young doctor whose star if on the rise, that is, until fate steps in. Hence, the title of this fun and interesting read. Shane finds his life taking new paths after a dangerous car accident.
A well-balanced story with realistic characters whose orderly lives become tangled with each other, forcing them to make choices they didn't want to make nor expect. There is a mysterious subplot that exerts its own pull on the reader, keeping the pages turning.
Written with a tender sensuality that sets it apart from the ordinary sex-driven romance, Accidental Angel offers the reader a chance to share the experience of learning to love deeply and well. It is with pleasure that I recommend this book to readers as a truly satisfying read.
