David Korinetz resides in a small rural area situated along Lake Okanagan in beautiful British Columbia. FireDrakes is his first novel and he is currently working on, Sorceress, the next book in the Daemon Knight series.

Background Information

At one time a prairie fish plant worker, machinist, aircraft mechanic, avionics technician, estimator and computer programmer, Davids love for fantasy and science fiction finally lead him into writing.

Accomplishments

In 2009, Allegory Ezine posted an honorable mention for David's short story, "Nomed's Button".

In 2008, David received an honorable mention from the Writers of the Future contest for the short story, “Daniel’s Demon”.

In 2005, David received an honorable mention from the Tall Tales Press Short Story Contest for the short story, “The Magic of Mars”.
