I worked in the National Health Service for 16 years, in rehabilitation as a nurse. I then moved to social services within the hospital, then became a trades union officer. I studied nutritional therapy following my diagnosis in 2004 and am now qualified. I lost my daughter, my sister and my father to cancer which influenced me to fight cancer by natural means rather than by orthodox medicine. I am now retired from the NHS and work from home. I have written several books. One is in the natural health field and one a book of poetry about my experiences after losing my daughter who died 11 years ago when she was 20.
