I left the world of small business ownership to enter the tougher world of writing and publishing fiction. I am 48 years old with 3 children, 1 son-in-law, 1 grand daughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 failed marriage.

Background Information

I left Wittenberg University with the intent on becoming a reporter and short story writer. After 6 months of striking out and not being able to afford free water I left the world of writing with the intent to come back. 25 Years later I did.

47 years of observing people and the ups and downs of my own life are my greatest personal influences.

Reading the likes of Irving, Vonnegut and others over and over and over again are my other influences.

Honorable Mention in Carpe Diem Contest and Hollywood Book Festival for SWAP. Finalist 2007 Midwest Independent Publishers Awards for SWAP. Finalist USA BOOK AWARDS 2008 for The Organ Grinder and the Monkey. Honoable Mention 2008 Readers View Awards for humor in fiction -- The Organ Grinder and the Monkey.

Additional Information

Swap is my 1st novel. My second was released in 2008 -- The Organ Grinder and the Monkey. On 2/24/09 I released NO MAD.
