Background Information

I started writing at the age of 29, always wanted to become a writer, never thought i'd be really any good at it. My first "poem" was more like a letter...my boyfriend offered advice on the form and flow of poetry and i took it from there.

Most wouldn't consider what i write actual poetry, more like essays, or lyrics. I'm more interested in writing songs and short stories since personally, i find writing poetry somewhat stifiling.

My inspiration comes from nature, mythology, fantasy, art, songwriters: Stevie Nicks, Cat Stevens and Tom Keifer.

In 2004, i finally completed my first faerytale, "The Unicorn Faery."

Additional Information

A few new ideas of mine are for a new short story called "The Wizard and the Dragon." Also an essay called "Six Million"
