____ __________________________________________________________________________________________________ About the author- Carol Sumilas Boshears, a Scranton, PA native is a graduate of Keystone College, LaPlume, PA, and Kent State University, Kent, OH with a BA in psychology. She is a free spirit Jill of all trades. She helped co-author with her husband, Jim, a reference guide book on Gonder Ceramic Arts. I've bred and shown Russian Blue cats, then in 1992 my husband and I changed to antique collecting and selling of American art pottery, cookie jars, ceramic banks, baseball memorabilia and art. Carol has written a Greyhound children’s story for “Celebrating Greyhounds” magazine. Now living in Rochester, NY, she has written articles, including lead ones, for papers such as Antique Trader. She is an appraiser of personal property and loves animals! She lives with Jim, her husband of almost 38 years, Missy Kitty, Tosca, their retired Greyhound racer, and of course, Blitzen, the “black terror”. Carol loves reading, animals, art, antiques,science fiction and naturally, chocolate.
