So many stories, so little time. When reading them you can plainly see who was one of my influences- see if you can guess ... yes, Rod Serling for one.
So, come join me and let me know what you think.
Psych major (need I say more;-)) I am the first writer in my family and the written word has always fascinated me. First in the form of plays, then stories and also articles and then to the book I co-authored with husband, Jim (Gonder Ceramic Arts-a comprehensive guide). Years ago I loved reading Robert Ruark, Heinlein, Asimov, Sinclair Lewis, Steinbeck and many more. I was a very quiet young girl, so perhaps the written word was a way for me to be heard. A family tragedy that happened when I was a teen and haunted me, started me writing again.
I love science fiction, though I have written a non-fiction anthology. Can't miss my biggest influence in writing though: with fiction, it is Rod Serling and non-fiction- the crazy characters I have known in life.
I am now working on my fiction novel.
Birth Place: Scranton, PA USA
Accomplishments: Co-authoring a pottery guide book. Getting my children's story published in "Celebrating Greyhounds" quarterly. Having an article published in PA NOW mag years ago. Now having articles published in Antique papers, including a lead article.
Helping many people years ago as a social worker.
Becoming an appraiser and studying color gemology was fun.
Had lead article in Antique Trader, plus had another published and will have one published in Antique Week.
My first book, The Chronicles of Blitzen is now out and the publisher is smalldogma.com
