My love of mysteries is rooted in ‘The Hardy Boys’ series. Having a sister and two older brothers who read every Hardy they could get their hands on, I too devoured each one of them, totally immersing myself in the sleuthing skills of Joe and Frank.
Leaving the slow paced town, for the commotion of the country's Capital, I obtained a degree in Art and Religious Studies from a national university. Working for a short time in Canada's West, in the financial area. I yearned for something more in life.
Leaving the Western provinces, I returned to Ontario to begin a life of helping teenagers. My initial novels are rooted in this avocation as we are able to experience the struggles of a young counselor working in a secondary school.
