My writing is influenced by authors such as Marge Piercy, Dorianne Laux, Annie Dillard, Mary Oliver and others. I have been writing since I was a child. During the 1960's and 1970's, I wrote about growing up in California's Central Valley farming community. I also write extensively about my Italian/American heritage and the geography of the Central Coast region of California.  

Nominated for Pushcart Poetry Award in 2012.

My newest book, "Agent Provocateur," collects a series of edgy narrative poems originally published by Ray Foreman in a series of Open Mic publications, Clark Street Review and Backstreet.
