I've written five books, and I love chocolate. I'm a passionate advocate for the environment (so let's make that organic, fair-trade chocolate).

Background
Information
I was born and raised in Europe till the age of 14. Influences on my writing came from the classics, particularly Ancient Greek, and 19th and modern European literature. Baudelaire was a major influence. When I came to the U. S., I discovered the British Romantic poets--another major influence. I'm not a snob about genre--great writing is great writing, whatever the genre, and I adore Ursula LeGuin.
