About the Author
My name is Gwendolyn D. Adams-Evans, fondly known as Gigi. I grew up in Atlanta, Ga. I am a freelance writer,published poet ,author and CEO/Playwright/Producer for GIWIZ PRODUCTIONS. My first play, "Jobleen, A Woman Of Strength" was performed in Decatur Ga, at the Straight Life Church Of God, on July 29,2011. Live rehearsal excerpts of the play are available on youtube.com
Henry, my husband of 48 years and I moved to Dekalb county in 1985 with our two children, Henry jr and Andrea Denise. I am a member of the Seti@home project with the university of Berkeley, (Berkely, CA), Saint Joseph's Indian School, MADD, AIM (Russel Means), Writers Guild of America, West Inc., American Biographical Institute and a published poet with Poetry.com, The American Poetry Anthology, BMI (lyricist), and Quill Books. I love to create abstract oil paintings, poetry, song lyrics and screenplays. My writing began after the completion of a two year home study writing course. After graduation, I wrote my firtst magazine article, with Chem Matters Magazine, "Yogurt, Is It Really Good For You". My first by line was published in Writers digest. I continued writing and published my first book, "DOLORES" (Amazon.Com) ISBN#1413761712.
