I grew up on Long Island, NY. I currently reside upstate, in Northern NY, where I co-host an award-winning morning show at a country radio station. I have been married to Pieter Gaskin since 2004.

My biggest author influences are Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe. The people in my life who encouraged my writing were my mother and the following teachers: Mrs. Dunn, Mrs. Kraacke and Mrs. Haupt.

"A Little Company" is my first novel, published in 2007. "Tricked" was published in 2009. "The Hungry Monster" is my Work In Progress. 

NYS Broadcasters Award (three times), won tickets to a Wynonna Judd concert in a lyric-writing contest, honorable mention in American Songwriter Magazine's lyric contest, 2 original songs featured on the nationally syndicated "Lia" radio show (15 Seconds of Fame segment), many awards in high school from "Expressions" literary magazine.

I am writing another Young Adult creeper-outer. Should be ready in summer or fall 2010.
