40 year veteran of radio-TV talk shows, newspaper columnist, social service activist, educator and public relations specialist.
Joe has the distinction of being the first Mexican American in US history to host a talk show on an English-language, commercial radio station, beginning in 1971 at KABC-AM Talk Radio in Los Angeles. He didn't go to school to be a journalist. He was noticed by various media representatives at numerous speaking engagements while active in the civil rights arena; He was then offered a hosting job by KABC executives.
After turning to God for solutions to life, he began a 20 year research into dispensationalism and premillenialism doctrines, to understand the rationale and motivation behind right wing evangelicals' entrance into the political arena. Since then, he has written two books that challenge the Left Behind and Rapture-to-heaven doctrines.
