The major influence in my life has been life itself. I'm driven to acquire new experiences and adventures, because I believe that those are the only possessions you can take with you when you pass from this world to the next.    

Awarded honorary membership in the International Society of Professional Trackers. My greatest personal rewards - like discovering the first wolves to migrate to Michigan's Lower Peninsula in a century, tracking down cougars that weren't officially present, or proving that Michigan's elk herd is more populous than state officials believed - do not generate awards.
