God has richly blessed me with a loving husband, great kids, special family & friends. I live on a small ranch outside Dallas, and if Don would let me, I'd have a menagerie. From raising to racing horses, I progressed to a bit more horsepower as Don & I race dirt track cars almost every Saturday night. I've always created stories & to see them in print is wonderful. Trying exciting things has given me rich experiences that enhance my characters. The motivation behing my writing started with smashing the Cinderella fairy tale that was fed little girls in my era. Life doesn't guarantee a happy ending, but I could damn sure write one! Or Not! Infuential writers in my life are Marilyn Pappano--USA Today Best Seller & RITA Award winner-- & Susan Shay-TO SCHOOL A COWBOY. Without my chosen sisters, I wouldn't have kept on driving--writing--perserving. And that's what it takes to stay alive in this business.

My first novel- FROM THE SHADOWS-placed 3rd in Single Title in the 2006 MORE THAN MAGIC Contest. Before it was published, it had won or placed in numerous contests.
My latest short, CINDERELLA'S 2ND MARRIAGE-Or the Shoe Doesn't Fit Anymore--The story embedded won the Short Short catergory in the Sioam Springs Writers Contest.
I'm working on a series of short stories as well as my "Ranch" book-TAME THE WILD HEART.
I am a member of Romance Writers Ink, Tulsa, OK as well as Romance Writers of America.

I have been a Bomber racer for 3 years, and finishing 11th, 6th, then this year, 5th, has been one of the most satisfying hobbies I've every done. And one of the scariest! Now I'm into scuba diving, with my first ocean dive coming in February.
