In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance. Isaiah 19:23-25

Background Information

Fred Aprim, an Assyrian Christian, was born in the ancient Assyrian city of "Arrapha", known during Christianity as "Kharkha de Bet Selokh", or modern Kirkuk, in northern Iraq (Assyria). He is a graduate of Mosul University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Fred's family, like many Assyrian families, experienced its share of oppression and persecution. While in Iraq, both his father and teenage brother were imprisoned and tortured. In 2003, he published a booklet titled "Indigenous People in Distress." In December 2004, he published his second book "Assyrians: The Continuous Saga" by Xlibris. His latest book, "Assyrians: From Bedr Khan to Saddam Hussein" (second edition) was published in January 2007 by Pearlida Publishing.

Additional Information

Fred Aprim's articles are published on his web site: www.fredaprim.com. His books are displayed also and are available to order. Fred's articles and books shed light on the oppression, persecution, marginalization and genocide of the Assyrian Christians (living under Islamic Law in the Middle East) perpetrated by Kurdish, Turkish, Persian and Arab political groups and/or governments.
