I was born in San Francisco, California and grew up in the southern California area. I am married to the lovely Elizabeth, and together we have raised two sons and two daughters.
Elizabeth and I have made our home in Savannah, Georgia, the Hostess City of the South, since 2006. In addition to supervising three rambunctious terriers, we tend to the needs of Miss Pink, our off-the-track Thoroughbred mare.
Previously, while living in Los Angeles, California, we worked as private detectives. My writing reflects aspects of that experience along with what was gleaned during extensive travels in developing nations of Eastern Europe and Asia.

My first published book, Three Dog Fright, was just released in September 2011. It is the first account of a series of three adventures 'embarked' upon by Toby, William, and Lily, three Minature Schnauzer terrorists,...whoops! I meant to say terriers.

Three Dog Fright
Earth is in peril! Daray of the Dark and his Usurpers hold Earth in their grip of deception and fear! The planet’s human inhabitants, the Stewards, have failed to vanquish this foe.
Enter Toby, William and Lily, a trio of Miniature Schnauzers living the ‘good life’ with their humans in the sultry, beguiling town of Savannah, Georgia. Chosen by the Masters and given the title of Three Dog Fright, these spoiled and pampered hounds emBARK on adventures during which they will battle the unseen forces of the Dark, their own self-doubts, and learn the benefits of trusting in a power beyond themselves.
In this first offering of the Three Dog Fright series, you’re invited to set foot, or paw, into The Most Haunted City in America…Savannah, Georgia, an eclectic blend of southern history, natural beauty, and attitude. But just beyond the sweet scent of magnolia blossoms and chicken-fried steak, is an odorous underbelly where slave traders, marauding pirates, local ‘bluebloods’, and even darker entities have thrived.
Come spend a harrowing weekend with our canine superheroes in Black Birch Mansion, known to locals as ‘The House that will not Die’. There, you’ll learn the Secret that Black Birch has hidden for almost three centuries, a Secret that has led generations of mankind to destruction, and now threatens both human and hound, alike!
