Now on sale: The action/thriller 'SIDEKICKS INCORPORATED' from Passionate Writer Publishing. Thanks to all the good folks at PWP for their fine work and support. Also the mystery/thriller 'RECLUSES' published by Double-Dragon/Bloodmoon publications. My usual thanks to Deron Douglas for making this the finest product it could be. Also on sale is the action/thriller 'DESOLATION Outpost' also by Double Dragon. As a writer, I was greatly influenced by the works of Stephen King (no shock there, right?), as well as other genre greats such as Robert R. McCammon, Dean Koontz, Ramsey Campbell, Thomas Harris and Robert Bloch. Rod Serling's 'TWILIGHT ZONE' and 'NIGHT GALLERY' programs helped shape my imagination for the fantastic at an early age, as did the comic book worlds created by Stan Lee and Marvel comics(CAPTAIN AMERICA, X-MEN, DAREDEVIL, IRON MAN, THE FANTASTIC FOUR, THE AVENGERS, THE INCREDIBLE HULK). Additionally, I cannot ignore the influence of such horror film classics as John Carpenter's 1982 remake of 'THE THING', as well as George A. Romero's 'DEAD' films. ALL-TIME FAVORITE TV SHOW: The Andy Griffith Show. A close second: the classic M*A*S*H. FAVORITE MOVIE: 1986's 'Aliens'. A close second: Romero's 1979 masterpiece 'Dawn of the Dead'. FAVORITE READ: Stephen King's (writing as Richard Bachman) 'The Long Walk'. A close second: Robert McCammon's horror collection 'Blue World'. MUSICAL TASTES: Classic rock all the way, baby. CURRENT PROJECT: A suspense/horror tale set in the old west tentatively entitled 'Fort Dread'. Birth Place: Red Bay, AL USA
Accomplishments: Received several medals and commendations while serving in the United States Air Force (1983-1991), where I was taught a sense of responsibility and dedication to task I still carry with me today. During my time in the service, I spent two tours overseas in South Korea, hence the novel 'Yellow Fever' was born.
I also toiled as a records clerk and records clerk supervisor at the Abilene, Texas Police Department for several years, and also as a corrections officer for the state of Texas. My latest day job is proudly serving as a Police Records Clerk for the Hendersonville, Tennessee PD.

AUG 2010: At long last, 'Desolation Outpost' has been released by Double-Dragon Publishing! Dude, I am stoked! NOV 2010: Double-Dragon has agreed to publish my newest novel, the horror-sci-fi collection 'Recluses' in August or September of 2011.
APRIL 2011: Passionate Writer Publishing has agreed to release my latest novel, an action-mystery entitled 'Sidekicks Incorporated'. A release date has been set for late July 2011.
