I have the itching for writing from reading and most of my writings are
I am in debt with many writers of short stories and tales, especially english, american-english, spanish and american-spanish. I could mention many, of course, but I will Edgar Allan Poe and Jorge Luis Borges like masters I am grateful to for the exciting and enriching times.
However, I do not include on this page, for the moment being, any short story or tale of the kind someone would say it is serious work, because what you will find here will be not serious indeed, for these I am sharing with you on this page so far, are humour short stories I am translating into english at present, from a book originally written in spanish and based on real facts. Besides, you will find also two poems about war, which are serious indeed.
As for the writers I am in debt with for doing things same or very similar or kind of as I have done I am deeply moved to mention John Steinbeck's Tortilla Flat and The short reign of Pippin the Fourth. Saying too first one was L'automme en Pekin by Boris Vian and trying not forget Eduardo Mendoza just not to lose my neck wherever I be.
Concerning essayists I will name as many as I can, but again comes up the name of Jorge Luis Borges, who taught me also how confuse people not confusing yourself too and be expectant.
Regarding Poets I am happy to have enjoyed I must mention William Blake, Pablo Neruda, Lorca, some of Irish bards, and why not many others, known or not.
Relating theatre works not only just to let you see I do not leave anything unforgiveable, I know it certainly be reasonable to mention the ones who kept me intrigued when I was only eleven years old: Eugene O'Neill and Luigi Pirandello.
With respect to witticisms I am still astounded and spellbound about how could I forget Mr. Oscar Wilde. To finish with, I would like to say that I know a writer must never write minor works, or at least destroy them before someone could read them. But if it is mere fun one wants to share with friends as an entertainment, he is obliged to do his best too.
I hope you will enjoy my humour tales and poems.
