Background Information

I am a man born and raised by people struggling as if slavery still existed. I learned the hard way and learned that sometimes humor is a remedy when nothing else works. I was taught by a man so antiquated he never had public utilities and had walked in the same pair of boots for over 40 years, ever since his hand cranked automobile broke down without funds to repair. "Now that I have repair funds," he said" all qualified machanics have long since died."

Birth Place
Niles, MI
Accomplishments

I've won several awards especially for a short story I wrote entitled, "Revelation Down In Dixie," to attend Cranbrook Academy of Arts. I have been recognized for my humorous poetry. My first book was published by Publish America, Frederick, Maryland.

Additional Information

I have walked among the living dead and I knew in order to awaken a crackhead he must be more than short of bread... My second book deals with slave stories, poetry and elements of humor. In one story a black man is rescued from a southern jail by what appears to be an actual lynch mob.
