Background Information

I am from a small town in southeast Georgia. I began writing poetry and was first published at the age of 17. Since then, I have kept my writing a secret. In 2004 I published my first book, The Chosen One, and then republished it in 2007. I am currently working on my second poetry book. I have been influenced by major events in my life and those I came in contact with. If it were not for Jesus Christ, I would not have found the words to express myself in a way that has touched those around me.
