Encouraged by many to write my memoire. I began journaling and realized I was writing my story. The title of my book the hornets nest comes from my earliest memory when I stepped into a hornets nest and it seemed life was one big hornets nest after another. My book is about all the unnecessary suffering I endured as a result of the way I processed my life. I learned life has its own ebb and flow and if I wanted to be happy I must embrace life on life's terms. Writing my story has healed me in ways that has surpassed my own understanding. I asked a dear friend one time when I was in suffering mode, why do I suffer so much? and she said: My dear friend, what is coming at you is coming from you. I never knew I was co-creator in my own misery.

I have accomplised many things in my life but I believe the most challenging was my stay in India for 33 days at an ashram where I studied to become a Hatha yoga teacher. I was determined to make it through my training. I was 50 years of age at the time and I received a standing ovation from the guru and class.

I would like to say it takes 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration to write a book, create music, and art. I litterally went into the desert, unplugged from the world, sat in silence daily and allowed my authentic self to pour out the true meaning of my life. This is how I have been able to write my book and songs. It takes discipline, silence and a little inspiration.
