From grade school through college, my teachers, instructors and professors commented to me about my writing ability and encouraged me to use it in some aspect of my professional career. Being young and wanting to do other things, I didn't consider writing until my grandchildren came along. By that time I had the discipline and the inspiration. I wrote my first children's novel for them, and they loved it. My husband encouraged me to have it published. It was wonderful seeing my work in print. It's now on the Accelerated Readers list in the elementary school of my hometown. To further hone my skill, I completed two writing courses with wonderful accolades from my instructors. Since that time, I’ve concentrated on writing romance novels which I thoroughly enjoy. I also stay busy writing short stories and poems for all ages. My latest project was completed July, 2012 entitled Fire & Ice. This lighthearted romance story is a fast, fun read!
