Skott Holck was born in Lakewood Colorado in 1969. He is the youngest of three children. Skott began making up stories and tall tales at a very young age. As he learned to write, these stories began to fill notebooks with a chicken-scratch scrawl. Skott wrote all through his school years and was more often than not scribbling away at some story or another.
When he first encountered J.R.R. Tolkien, he learned that there was really an artform to fiction, that whole worlds could be created at the pen of a writer. This idea thrilled him, and from that point on, he thought of himself as a author and knew that one day, when his craft was perfected, he would get published.
