I was born in Chicago and used to commute there each day to my day job before the economy intervened and I lost my job of over 38 1/2 years. Right now I'm a full time author, just released a humorous romance, before that a paranormal romantic thriller, Forever Young-Blessing or Curse. Before writing and even after, I've always been an avid reader. My reading habit started years ago with a children's magazine, called Humpty Dumpty. I graduated to Cinderella, then Gothics, Harlequins, Dick Francis, Mary Higgins Clark, Katherine Stone and Sidney Sheldon, and more. I got bit bad by the writing bug when I saw a library presentation by Chicago-North Romance Writers of America. I joined the chapter. With much support, I learned what it takes to make a novel.

Mysteries and romances are my favorite. So are Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, and Bruce Willis, to name a few.

Somewhere along the line, I plan to also finish a children's book done about my special needs dog, Rascal, who can't hear.

When I'm not writing, reading, or online, I go to neighborhood festivals, arts and craft fairs, rummage sales, flea markets. I'm also a huge country music fan. Also love playing slots, but can't afford that much anymore!

Prior to Killer Career, Girl of My Dreams, a romantic comedy about a reality show contestant,came in #4 in the Preditors and Editors Contest, also won the Virginia RWA Fool for Love Contest.

Debut novel, Two Wrongs, a Chicago area tale of revenge and the healing power of love, came in #6 in the Preditors and Editors Poll.
