Ever since I was 5, I have had a strong desire to write and a passion to see my words come alive in stories. It's been a long road to get where I am at, but the journey has been fulfilling. My first action adventure story, "The Death of an Agent", a fast paced novella, took life initially in the summer of 1994, and was entered into a International writing contest in 1996, and was selected as a Honorable Mention. Years had passed before my work was brought to the public, and I thank AuthorHouse for that opportunity. Since July of 2005, the sequel "Multiple Danger", sprung life in September of 2007, and was my first actual novel length story. My main character, Jim Deliviki, went from a newbie FBI agent avenging his families killers- terrorists, to emerging as a secret agent, and seeking out to stop a former teammate/ lover turned terrorist and stop her from wreaking unjust acts of violence against innocent bystanders. Along the way rediscovering past events and emotionally dealing with them. I am currently working on the third book in this series, "High Grounds", which I hope to finish by late next year, which will dig deeper into espionage and terrorism and expose danger which has taken a path of global threat and try to stop it. Also I have been working on a totally different kind of story, about my child hood experiences while living in Camden, Tennessee, called "Tennessee Youngster", which is sort of a Mark Twain style book like Huck Finn. I will be writing under the name C.J. Brook for my young adult book(s). I dedicate this book to my son, Cley J. Secor, who is a smart, wonderful 16 year old which his father (me) adores. I have found myself in the past year writing poetry and really enjoying it. I just want to be able to leave this world, knowing that my son can say, "Hey that was my dad, and I am proud of him."
