Life is tough, tougher when you're stupid - Marion Moore

Background Information

I'm just getting started as an author so I don't have that much background except the scads of poetry and short stories I wrote in high school. I like to think I have some innate talent. I have had some poems and short stories published locally, again mostly in high school. My new work is leaning towards fantasy and dark mystery. My favorite authors personally are Sherrilynn Kenyon and Laurell K Hamillton, so I am sure my first major work with reflect that considerably.

Accomplishments

I am a mother of a 2 year old and a 4 month old and the wife of an Army veteran. Right now, "Mommy I love you" is all the award I want or need.

Additional Information

Like I said before, I am new at this so any advice on how to get started or wishes to critique (still transcribing notes) are more than welcome. Please, even though what I am posting so far is my old work, leave me your opinions.
