By choice, it has become my life's work to entertain, to bring humor, to educate and to help make people's visions --- visible.

Having been born during what is considered to be the "Post-World-War-II Baby Boom", I've absorbed, along with over a half-century of my own, personal experiences, an additional half-century of the personal experiences, music, jokes and family anecdotes of both my parents, three of my four grandparents, quite a broad "extended" family and acquaintances I've made with people of all ages, from all walks of life. I have worked as a volunteer and for pay, in many capacities. I have traveled, both within and outside my country. I have been a parent --- and I'm now a (first-time) grandparent. It is from all of those many resources that I draw inspiration for all of my creative efforts, whether in music, drawing and illustration or writing.

Accomplishments
|
|
Many extrinsic awards, along with many intrinsic rewards, have been given to me, over the years, for my (volunteer) work with a children's drama group and with the developmentally challenged and blind, as well as for my (paid) work, as a caregiver and entertainer for the elderly and for children, a tutor of (English, French and Spanish) language skills, and as a classroom teacher of French, Spanish and preschool children (including groups enrolled in the HeadStart State Preschool Program).
Recently, I've had the pleasure of being contracted as the illustrator of seventeen books, five of which are completed and in the process of being published, printed and prepared for release, in the very near future.

"Journey to Marry the Princess" is a fully color illustrated chapter-book for children, for which it has been my sincere pleasure to be both author and illustrator. Based (loosely!) on Russian folklore, this story will entertain, educate and bring laughter to a broad demographic.
