Inspiration for my poems are drawn from personal experiences. 34years young... it only took me 15 years of adulthood to make me realize that I needed to start living and enjoying life, rather than dwelling on the past. An army brat, now married eleven years into the military. I adore my soldier with everything in me. I have a gorgeous son, who is just entering high school. Needless to say, I think I'm "already" experiencing empty nest syndrome, and he hasn't even left the house yet :) Born near Lynchburg TN, we settled in Kansas in the late 80s. Kansas is where I have been off and on ever since. I dont call any particular state home, just the place I lie my head every night. Because any place can be considered a house, but where your heart is... truly makes it a home.
I have to many interest to list. Love all books and movies, with exception of horror. Anything or one person who can challenge my mind, is always a worthwhile subject. 

Greatest achievement in my life thus far is raising a well mannered, well rounded, teenager boy, who respects his family, and nature. I couldn't be prouder of how he's turning out. As far as certificates, awards, and other achievements... I'm still growing. One day I'll have bragging rights :) Until that day comes, just enjoy reading my work.
