Background Information

NV Torres is a Puerto Rican poet from North Philadelphia. Born and raised in Philly, NV Torres has been writing poetry since the age of eleven. Even at that tender age, she understood the power of feelings and how to connect them with words. Her very first poem was a love poem for her best friend. She has been writing ever since... In June of 2007, Ms. Torres accomplished one of her dreams - she successfully self-published her first collection of poetry, I Know All The Right Things To Say.
