I've held a variety of positions, none of which has much to do with writing other than exposing me to a diverse selection of personality types and lifestyles. Early writing influences definitely included the paperback pot-boilers, and I was hooked by their cliff-hanging plots and melodramatic styles. Consequently, I still think of recreational reading as fun, and wish only to be entertained.

Currently, I have five books available in two series. The Nick and Sarah Mysteries are set on the California coast and include "Fogstalker", "Seaglass Eyes", and "Fatal Stretch". The Trucker Deal series is set on the San Francisco Peninsula, Palo Alto, and the Silicon Valley and consists of "Cool Deal" and "Sweet Deal". I consider the Nick and Sarah books as howcatch'ems instead of whodunits, allowing the reader to see simultaneous actions of various characters. "Fogstalker", "Seaglass Eyes", and "Fatal Stretch" are all available in independent bookstores throughout California's Monterey Bay region, from Santa Cruz to Pacific Grove, and are selling well in most locations.
