I was born and raised in the lone star state of Texas. Although, growing up my family moved around a lot, I’ve never lived outside that state boundary. I was born in a large town called Houston, but spent the majority of my life living in small towns. And, in a small town is where my family and I reside now. As fate would have it, I got married at a very young age. My husband and I have spent thirteen memorable years together and still counting. Shortly after being wed, I had my first son and in what seemed like no time at all, two more boys followed. I have always enjoyed writing, even in my younger days. It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I started writing poetry. I am inspired to write by everything around me but, the three main reasons are fate, hope and love. I believe with them on your side, you can’t fail.

My achievements in this life are my three kids. They are my rock and help keep me going.

I finally got my second book of poetry out titled "Love's Soft Whisper Poems from the heart". I am still working on a couple of children books. I already have one wrote up but I am waiting for the drawings to go with it. So please check back whenever you have the time. Thank you all for stopping by. ~V.K. Ennis
