Leon Portelance grew up on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. He completed a BA in music composition in 1976 with a minor in creative writing. He has been writing fiction for twenty years and has completed two novels and many short stories. He is also a poet and lyricist. In 1998, Leon moved to California where he now lives with his wife Debi and two youngest children.
