Born in France, I switched from English to Italian at the equivalent of your High School (found English too difficult... oh My Golly... how could I?). I never studied English again until I moved to Australia in 1975 where I was offered an intensive course at the Royal Melbourne Insitute of Technology. I graduated First of my class, and after a few months started writing short stories, poems and articles in English. Never looked back since, despite I write in both languages with the same ease. Shakespeare and Milton have probably been the major influences and my motivation to write. Classical music is the major influence in my life though, I can't work without a good piece of classical music in the background. I draw my inspiration from it. It is more necessary to my well being than food or any other thing. The reason I chose to write poetry is because, in my opinion, Poetry is music with words. I have traveled intensively since I was very young, and lived and worked in 4 continents.

Studied Criminal Law, then Commercial. While looking after my children, studied Design, drawing and painting. Went back to University to study Psychology. PhD in Psychology. PhD in French.
Hold a Masters of Feng Shui, practice I Ching. Would like to finish the dissertation in parapsychology I started years ago. It's now on it's way to be completed.

My first book "A BASKETFUL OF RHYMES" was published by iUniverse on December 21, 2001. It has received raving reviews by readers on amazon.com US, UK, DE, France, and on barnesandnoble.com. I have recently been asked by the City of North Charleston (SC) to conduct a "written expression" workshop for their Teenagers camp held during the Summer Break. I am working on 3 books at the moment and just published "9/11/2001" which is replacing "A Basketful of Rhymes: I will be happy to autograph it.
