Member, Australian Society of Authors. Formerly a Director with Andromeda Productions, which made films for cinema and TV. Former film editor, ABC-TV 1960-63, and Crawford Productions 1963-8. Edited documentaries, the first Australian TV drama series "Homicide", and the international series "Riptide". Melbourne editor Greenweek, national newsletter on the environment, 1989-92. Moved to semi-rural northern NSW in 1994 and began writing fiction. Part way through a BA degree at Southern Cross University.

Co-founded a residential accelerated learning program for teenagers, called Discovery, that operated in four States of Australia.

Published an influential film industry magazine called Lumiere, supported by the Arts Council, 1970-72.

Founded Kipling's Business Communications.

Founding member, Australian Children's Television Action Committee, and its first Chairman.

Publication of "Jorell", an environmental fairy story, in 2007. It was launched on Environment Day, under the auspices of the local Environment Centre.
