Any book published by an Arizona publisher, written by an Arizona author or set in Arizona was eligible for entry.
Five Star Publications walked away with the Best Popular Fiction Glyph for A Feather in the Rain by Alex Cord and the Best Gift Book Glyph for Gunsmoke: An American Institution by Ben Costello. Gunsmoke is an 11- by 8.5-inch coffee table book that relives 50 years of television’s most popular western through hundreds of photos and millions of memories of Marshal Matt Dillon, Doc Adams, Miss Kitty and more. A Feather in the Rain is based on the true story of a trail-hardened cowboy trying to run away from the heartache of burying his own son. In the process, he runs into the arms of a famous model and kindred spirit.
